Max Morales

Max Morales serves as the CTO of VideoPort IPTV and provides services to various cable operators. With his extensive experience and industry knowledge, Max is a valuable asset in delivering solutions to the telecommunications industry.

Max has 40+ years of experience in telecommunications — specializing in cable television, telephony, and digital subscriptions. With a comprehensive background in the cable industry, he has held positions in Technical Operations, Engineering, R&D, Product Development, Systems Integration, Market Development, and Sales.

Max started his career with TCI in the Florida Keys, quickly rising to the position of Regional Engineer. He then joined Cable Television Laboratories, Inc., contributing to groundbreaking projects such as cable telephony systems and digital video.

As the Engineering Director for the Southern Cone Region at United International Holdings, Inc., Max led the launch of Latin America’s first cable telephony service. He has also served as Director of Product and Market Development at Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc., leading the development of innovative RF signal management products.

Throughout his career, Max has been involved in consulting projects, engineering, technical operations, training, and due diligence for major cable operators in Latin America. He has published papers and presented at industry events, showcasing his expertise in HFC and GPON networks.

In 2003, Max founded VIDEOPORT IPTV LLC, offering a Headend as a Service (HaaS) solution to operators. With VideoPort, operators can deploy a fully interactive world-class solution without significant infrastructure investment. The turn-key solutions include Digital Video, High-Speed Internet, SIP VoIP, System Monitoring, and Technical & Engineering Management services.
